Q. If I hang my WyreTree in the corner, where should I install my hook? 

• We suggest keeping the ceiling hook at least 24” from any objects. This will allow your WyreeTree to clear corners and walls.

• A toggle bolt ceiling hook is available and sold separately for hanging your WyreTree from a finished ceiling.    If you prefer, you may purchase a drop ceiling hook from most hardware stores.

Q. What do you suggest is an appropriate height to hang the WyreTree? There are 12" and 24" cables included with your WyreTree. We suggest using the 12" cable for 9' ceiling use, and the 24" cable for a 10' ceiling.  For higher ceilings you may need additional hardware to connect the two cables together to make a 36" extension.  We recommend a split ring, found at most hardware stores. Q. How many ornaments and ornament hangers does it take for one WyreTree? Using 2 1/4" ornaments, a quantity of about 200 ornaments is required and the same number of hangers. Using a 3" ornament, it needs about 165 of each and with a 3.5" ornament around 144 of each. Q. Can I store my WyreTree with the ornaments attached? No, all ornaments and hangers will need to be removed from the WyreTree. When preparing the tree for storage, leave the cables connected to the rings and gently lay each ring back into the grooved cradles in the original WyreTree Box. Your WyreTree will easily store under a bed or in a closet in the original WyreTree box. Q.Can I hang my WyreTree outside? No. The WyreTree is for indoor use only.

Q. How can I make sure my WyreTree is level before I hang my ornaments?

• Occasionally connector clips will turn when being stored in your WyreTree box.  With the tree hanging freely gently push down on each ring and if any clip has turned, it will correct itself.

Q. I only have room for a 4' WyreTree. Do you make a shorter tree?

• You can convert your WyreTree to a shorter height by removing the bottom 2 rings. Turn the clips on the second to bottom ring and it will easily detach. Remove any extra cables and re-attach the bottom clips. Now you have a 4' tree, and remember to store the bottom 2 rings along with all clips and cables in the box. You never know when you might have extra space.
